Description
Woodland Strawberry (Fragaria vesca): is a fast-growing native with bright green serrated leaves and white flowers from April to June. It’s a low ground cover (less than 1 foot) that tolerates full sun to partial shade. Woodland strawberry works well under trees or taller shrubs. It spreads rapidly with runners and produces small, intensely flavored fruits. It needs moist, well-drained soil and moderate summer water. $20 for a bundle of 5 bare root seedlings.
